Children make terrible pets

Lovely illustrations & such a whimsical idea / title... couldnt resist it at Barnes & Noble while in the US.
Loving this - not sure yet if I will keep it ... or give it to a lucky kid. Husband didnt think it was a good gift for little boys but I wholeheartedly disagree! :)

Cute play on how kids often find little creatures (worms, spiders, frogs... ; ) and then want to keep them as pets.
